John - Great web site again and cool idea to keep everybody in touch. Enjoyed the Rodney and the Blotto clip. You probably know "We are the Nowtones" by Blotto too. That's a funny and good song also. Speaking of rock bands Q: "What's the difference between a bull and a rock band?" A: On a bull the horns are in the front and the asshole is in the back. Anth told me about Tony Paterno's heroic deed. I am proud of him as I know we all are. He says he is not a hero but I would have left the guy there if my train was pulling into the station. I kid of course unless I was really late. The Fup picture is great and I will show it to Charlie Cangiolosi's sister Lucille and John Ryan when I see them. We all work for Bank of New York but I don't see them that often.
I can still remember rounding third at 107 and Mike Clark going "Slide or I'll kill you!". I could barely slide on dirt without breaking an ankle much less on asphalt.
Now if we could only get the clip of Wally on the news when Guliani dropped out of the race. Not sure if anyone else caught that on Channel 2 but Wally looked great and sounded good on TV. Wally is another good man. Come to think of it - for a bunch of F'ups - we all are. Nice job John. Thanks. - Rich C.
This site is dedicated to the rich history of a group of fun-loving goofballs from Flushing, NY appropriately named the Fups, another group called the Antiques and the entire gang that has frequented Millard Fillmores Tavern from the late 70's to the present.
This was more than just a group of guys and girls getting together for softball games, barbeques, rafting trips, bathtub races and weekends. This is a group that has - for the most part- stayed in close contact with one another over the course of time.
